The One for the Sun OLV Campaign

Launching in Q1 2024 to mark the start of sun season, Coppertone Face introduces a new level of facial protection designed to empower everyone to confidently embrace the sun. Built on the belief that the sun fuels our wellbeing and brings people together, the campaign celebrates the joy of shared outdoor moments—while ensuring unbeatable protection that lets everyone fully enjoy their time in the sun.

For the summer the team needed content rollout that included a dynamic mix of 64 total video assets, spanning digital, social, and TikTok formats, as well as a robust suite of static and motion visuals. These include 15 YouTube and social masters, 7 TikTok masters, and 42 video adaptations across lengths and platforms.

SOCIAL CREATIVE APPROACH

As the lead on the social side of the campaign, I took a hands-on approach—collaborating closely with the videographer to problem-solve in the moment. This allowed us to capture the genuine warmth and connection that often get lost in larger productions, while moving at the pace social demands. We focused on collecting content that resonated with Coppertone’s audience by highlighting real, unscripted moments on set and tapping into relevant social trends featuring the product. This approach reinforced the campaign’s message: celebrating the joy of shared outdoor experiences and the confidence that comes from true protection.
